Paso Robles Water Integrity Network PAC
Paso Robles Water Integrity Network (PR-WIN) is a grassroots Political Action Committee (a 527 PAC) created to mount an opposition to the proposed AB 2453 Paso Robles Basin Water District. The district is being forced on us by a small, well organized and well financed special interest group that is seeking total control of the water in our basin. The proposed district would strip away our constitutional right to the reasonable use of the water under the property we own.
The list of lies and threats floating around is endless and must be publicly addressed to insure the voters have a clear view of the issues at stake before making a decision about the district formation. We’ve chosen a lifestyle and want to protect our precious resource, our right to conserve it, and our right to use it for reasonable purposes.
Literally thousands of your neighbors studied AB 2453, the legislation that powers ther Water District, decided against the district and submitted protests letters at the LAFCO hearing. First file is here (it is very big) and second file is here
LAFCO cynically ignored the protest letters under the premise that the basin residents would have a chance to vote on the formation anyway. Well that time has now come. Remember you must Vote NO on BOTH Measures A-16 and B-16. Not voting is not an option – it is the same as voting yes!
